Variability analysis of infection winter wheat cultivars in Lower Silesia by fungus Puccinia recondita f. sp. tritici Analiza zmienności porażenia odmian pszenicy ozimej na Dolnym Śląsku przez grzyb Puccinia recondita f. sp. tritici

Abstract
Variability of winter wheat cultivars infection by fungus Puccinia recondita f. sp. tritici was analysed in the years 2010, 2011 and 2013. The study the results of post-registration trials conducted in four locations: Naroczyce, Zybiszów, Tarnów and Kondratowice. The degree of infection of wheat cultivars was evaluated on the three upper leaves of plants nine-degree scale (where: 9 – healthy plants; 1 – 100% plants infected). The following cultivars: Figure, Natula, Ostroga, Mulan, Bamberska, Askalon, Szmaragd and Muszelka were assessed. There were significant differences in the occurrence of severity of leaf rust in the years of research and locations. In Zybiszów location regardless of the year of the study the wheat cultivars were infected the most by leaf rust as compared to other locations. Analysis of variance showed a significant interaction of the cultivars with the years and the cultivars with the locations. The cultivar Figura was characterized by a high susceptibility to infection by fungus P. recondita f. sp. tritici, while the cultivar Ostroga by an increased resistance. W latach 2010, 2011 i 2013 analizowano zmienność porażenia odmian pszenicy ozimej przez grzyb Puccinia recondita f. sp. tritici. Badania przeprowadzono na podstawie wyników Porejestrowego Doświadczalnictwa Odmianowego (PDO) w czterech miejsco-wościach: Naroczyce, Zybiszów, Tarnów i Kondratowice. Porażenie odmian oceniano w skali dziewięciostopniowej na trzech górnych liściach roślin pszenicy (9 – rośliny zdrowe; 1 – rośliny w 100% porażone). Badania przeprowadzono na następujących odmianach pszenicy: Figura, Natula, Ostroga, Mulan, Bamberska, Askalon, Szmaragd i Muszelka. Stwierdzono istotne zróżnicowanie nasilenia rdzy brunatnej w poszczególnych latach badań i miejscowościach. W miejscowości Zybiszów niezależnie od roku badań odmiany pszenicy charakteryzowały się zwiększonym nasileniem rdzy brunatnej w porównaniu do pozostałych lokalizacji. Analiza wariancji wykazała istotne interakcje odmian z latami badań i odmian z miejscowościami. Odmiana Figura odznaczała się znaczną wrażliwością na porażenie przez P. recondita f. sp. tritici, natomiast odmiana Ostroga charakteryzowała się zwiększoną odpornością.
