VECTORS OF UNDERSTANDING OF THE PROBLEM OF HUMAN HAPPINESS IN THE NOVEL BY YU. MUSHKETYK «CRUEL MERCY»

Abstract
The article discusses the specific interpretation of the problem of happiness in the novel by Yu. Mushketyk «Cruel Mercy». Psycho-philosophical, socio-cultural vectors of reflection of this category are identified. Oxymoron symbolism of the title are analyzed. The features of truthful and convincing showing by the writer of the fate of the people on the background of historical events that occurred in Ukraine throughout the twentieth century are described. The novelty of the writer's understanding of the issue of stolen happiness are identified.
