VENTURE INVESTMENT IN UKRAINE AND THE WORLD: CURRENT TRENDS AND FEATURES OF DEVELOPMENT

Abstract
The article explores features of venture investment in Ukraine at the present stage, taking into account world experience, namely: the essence and specificity of venture capital are considered; the main factors influencing the development of the venture industry are presented; the main tendencies of scale growth and direction of venture financing are analysed. Based on the regulatory framework, the main reasons that hinder the activation of venture capital investment in Ukraine are outlined. The ways of increasing the efficiency of venture investments are proposed based on the improvement of the mechanism of their involvement in innovative projects.
