Verbalization of concepts “male” and “female” through the prism of philosophy of Yin and Yang

Abstract
This article discusses the meaning of Chinese characters “male” and “female” through the senses of concept of Yin and Yang, and reveals ideas objected in the form of these characters on the different stages of evolution. It is shown in the article that these ideas are connected with the concept of Yin and Yang from ancient Chinese philosophy, and the author of the article represents their usage in calligraphy, reflection on the level of social status and in other aspects.
