Vibrational Spectra, Electronic Structure and Properties of the Molecules Aspirin and Ibuprofen.
Journal Title: JOURNAL OF ADVANCES IN PHYSICS - Year 0, Vol 10, Issue 2
Abstract
The FT-IR Vibrational spectra analysis, electronic structures and properties of the anti-inflammatory drugs Aspirin and Ibuprofen in gas and water and ethanol have been studied by using ab initio and DFT computational calculation. The present investigation deals with the analysis of structural and bonding features responsible for biological activities, stability of the molecules, average polarizability, anisotropy, energies and the IR vibrational spectra of the molecules. The observed and the calculated vibrational frequencies are found to be in good agreement. The experimental FT-IR spectra also coincide satisfactorily with those of the theoretically constructed line spectra at the B3LYp/6-31+G* level of theory.

First application of total skin electron beam therapy for Mycosis Fungoids in Iran
Total skin electron beam therapy (TSEBT) is internationally considered as a treatment modality for cutaneous T-cell lymphoma for either curative purpose or palliative care. The first attempt to apply TSEBT in Iran took p...
Effect of rapid solidification and calcium additions on Sn-38 wt.%Pb-6 wt.%Sb melt-spun alloys
The effect of calcium additions on the structure and physical properties of melt-spun process Sn-38Pb-6Sb alloys have been experimentally investigated at a solidification rate of ~105 K/s. Structure, internal friction, e...
Conserved Quantities for the General Linear Heat Equation
In this paper, conserved quantities are computed for a class of evolution equation by using the partial Noether approach [2]. The partial Lagrangian approach is applied to the considered equation, infinite many conservat...
