Abstract
This article analyzes the chapter acts of the Municipal Archive of Cehegín from the end of the 19th century, in which the relationship between religious life and the politics of the municipality is sought. To do this, the minutes are read and transcribed and analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. With the chapter acts you can see the importance of religious life in the daily life of the municipality.
