Abstract
Analysis of the state of the educational services market of vocational schools shows that the educational services market is quite competitive. This is the reason of an urgent improvement in the field of the management of the educational process. Analysis of the literary and normative sources on the problems of managing of educational institutions of professional education and scientific researches in this field reaches conclusions that the theory and technology of educational process modeling and management as an integral system with its specifics, structure and forms of implementation requires fundamental modernization. The article touches upon the issue of the investigation of the improvement of the management of the educational process in Lyubotinskiy Professional Lyceum of railway transport by means of information technologies. The structure of management of the educational process in a vocational educational institution by means of information technologies, which meets the modern needs, was created and experimentally tested. Recommendations were developed to improve the management of the educational process through the introduction of a new structure and the use of information technology methods.
