Vineyards in the region of Straden represent the element outlining the agrar-ian cultural landscape of this area. Viticulture was introduced by the Romans, and it has been practiced from time immemorial both for the wine, used in the daily meals, and for the religious practices. Viticulture represents a source of income for the people, who try hard to maintain a typical wine country in their characteristic way.
