VIRTUAL LABORATORY OF OSCILLATIONS
Journal Title: Journal of Science And Arts - Year 2009, Vol 11, Issue 2
Abstract
In the present paper we have tried to reinforce the knowledge regarding oscillations, especially those with viscous damping, for the groups of students or classes that have expertise in algorithms and computer programming. This method implies using a software application, which contains an interface for visualizing the charts to the motion laws for different types of oscillations with fluid friction. The component, which conveys originality, consists in the user’s possibility to simulate different motion laws for reduced friction, by introducing and testing some new initial conditions. In addition to this, the application may be extended by the student to simulate the motion laws for heavy friction and critique damping. These facilities may be also used during the processes of assessment and self assessment.

SOME GEOMETRIC INEQUALITIES OF IONESCU-WEITZENBÖCK TYPE IN TRIANGLE
Some Ionescu-Weitzenböck’ s type inequalities for general triangles are presented. The main tool in the proofs is Radon’s inequality and of course Ionescu-Weitzenböck s inequality.
