Virtual Resource management in Cloud Environment

Journal Title: International Journal of Scientific Research and Management - Year 2013, Vol 1, Issue 9

Abstract

Clo ud computing is a new model for computing . The resource management tools are important compared to traditional distributed syste ms like grid computing. In order to better management the virtual resource in cloud, a n event - driven push (E D P) monitoring model is proposed. EDP can provide comparatively information about usag e and status of the resources. The model can simplify the comm unication between Master and Work ers without missing the important events happened during the push interval. We test it by extend the Libvirt in monitoring of virtual CPU and memory.
