Abstract
Television has been an active subject of the cultural process since its inception and in the course of its development has become increasingly important in the life of society. The article is devoted to the analysis of the processes of genre transformation of modern television. The article describes the impact of new communication technologies on television, as a form of artistic creativity. The classification of activity of a television audience is offered, and also the basic kinds of participation of the spectator in demonstration and creation of a television show are described.
