Volunteership in social work: correlations and strains

Abstract
The goal of the paper is to analyse the correlations and strains between volunteership and social work, disclosing the specifics of relationship among professional social workers, clients and volunteers. The objectives are to disclose the historical correlations of volunteership and social work; to identify the strains of social work as a professional activity and volunteership as well as to identify the potential of volunteership development in the social work.
