ВПЛИВ ЕЛЕКТРОННОЇ КОМЕРЦІЇ НА РОЗВИТОК СУЧАСНОГО ТУРИСТИЧНОГО БІЗНЕСУ

Abstract

The article defines the concept of e-commerce in tourism, establishes the main advantages and disadvantages of its applying in the process of economic activity of a tourism enterprise. It is defined that the rapid spread of electronic payment tools, development of communication networks and growth the quantity of potential Internet users have transformed the e-commerce in one of the important channels for the sale of tourism services, while increasing the profitability and competitiveness of the enterprise. The most popular tourism services in the global network - air travel and hotels booking systems, as well as selling of the tickets for cultural and entertainment events, satisfy the main requirement of end-users - to select the services for a variety of relevant proposals, concentrated in one place. It is noted that the further development of e-commerce in the nearest future will lead to a redistribution of influence between the sales channels of tourism products and services.
