Abstract
in our paper we provide the analysis of a questionnaire survey, carried out among the community mayors that are located on the Slovak side of the Slovak-Ukrainian border. we focus on four areas: cooperation between the communities and border, munici - palization of communities, euroregion and location of communities at the border. we offer brief characterization of the problems and suggest possible solution for each of the areas we focus onto.
