Abstract

The basic tasks of the city police is the organization and the rights and obligations in the Slovak Republic are defined by the Act SNC No. 564/1991 Coll on the as amended. The city police under that law is police department which is acting in the affairs of public order, protection of the environment in the municipality and performs all obligations stipulated from the general regulations of the city and res- olutions of the city council and from the decisions of the Lord Mayor.
