Walter M337 AK engine monitoring by system EDM-800 in operation of Air Training and Education Centre
Journal Title: INCAS BULLETIN - Year 2014, Vol 6, Issue 4
Abstract
This paper describes the process of the M337 engine monitoring by the Engine Data Management 800 which is mounted on six aircraft of Air Training and Education Centre. This is the most advanced and accurate piston engine-monitoring system on the market that uses the latest microprocessor technology to monitor critical engine parameters in order to measure parameters as cylinder head temperature and exhaust gas temperature to evaluate each cylinder performance alone. These parameters are monitored during these flight regimes – take off, climb and cruise. Monitoring of the mentioned parameters will help us to increase the economy of the aircraft and also its operation’s reliability.

Buckling of Flat Thin Plates under Combined Loading
This article aims to provide a quick methodology to determine the critical values of the forces applied to the central plane of a flat isotropic plate at which a change to the stable configuration of equilibrium occurs....
TORNADO concept and realisation of a rotor for small VAWTs
The concept of a three-tier configuration for a vertical axis rotor was successfully developed into a experimental model. The rotor assembly is divided into three tiers with three straight blades in each tier. The three-...
Experimental Investigations on the Possibility to Apply the Corrugated Sheet Metal Used in the Past with Junkers Aircraft to Reduce Noise for Future European Aircraft. Other Noise Reduction Experiments for Future European Aircraft
This paper shows that corrugated skin used in the past with Junkers aircraft to increase the fuselage and wing rigidity can lead to noise reduction for future European aircraft. If the pressure side of wing which is plac...
Study of the railway vehicle suspension using the multibody method
The article presents a mathematical model for the study of a passenger coach hunting motion using the multibody approach. The model comprises the lateral displacement, rolling and yawing motions for the main constitutive...
Absolute stability for the lateral-directional BWB model with rate limited actuator
In this paper the authors present a study regarding the interaction between the human pilot and the aircraft which may result in a dangerous phenomenon called Pilot Induced Oscillations (PIO), in the context of the later...
