Warning System for Landslides through Modified Particle Filtering Algorithm
Journal Title: International Journal of Computer Science & Engineering Technology - Year 2013, Vol 4, Issue 6
Abstract
To prevent the pilgrims or local people before falling of landslides we create an alert system for it by using modified particle filtering algorithm.in this we detect the change in position and velocity in the video image of rocks of mountain using modified particle filtering algorithm by tracking the movement of particles by using its likelihoods.

HCI and Eye Tracking : Emotion Recognition Using Hidden Markov Model
Recognition of Emotion can be identified using Eye Tracking methods which may be non-intrusive. SVD and HMM are used for eye tracking to recognize emotions, which classifies six different emotions with less correlation c...
TECHNIQUES TO PRESERVE DATA ACCESS PRIVACY OF USERS IN WSN :A SURVEY
Sensor nodes in wireless sensor network are densely deployed to monitor the physical world. In distributed access control user can directly access data from sensor nodes. While accessing data from sensor nodes user detai...
Web Content Filtering Techniques: A Survey
For many, accessing the Internet is a mixed blessing; in worst case, it can create serious problems. Web Content Filtering is a firewall to block certain sites from being accessed. Content filtering and the products that...
Map Overlay and Zooming for Satellite Images
Map overlay and satellite image zooming makes map reading more convenient. These techniques are the building block for various analysis operations in GIS. Map overlay is performed by layering maps in the form of shapefil...
Mathematical model for Non-linear analysis of the stability of a system during unidirectional solidification with buoyancy and small segregation coefficient
The non-linear analysis of any physical problem is capable of predicting the qualitative and quantitative aspects of the problem. In this article, the effects of the constraints like rotation, permeability and quadratic...
