WATER TEMPERATURE DISTRIBUTION FORECAST SIMULATION FOR LAKES AS HEAT SOURCE/SINK FOR SURFACE WATER HEAT PUMPS

Abstract

A simple model was developed to simulate the horizontal water temperature distribution for small lakes in some mid-south cities in China. The simulated results and measured results were compared to verify the reliability and practicability of the model. It was concluded that the model can be used to simulate and forecast the horizontal water temperature distribution of small lakes so as to optimize the installation position in the lake of water feed and return pipes of surface water heat pump air conditioning systems.
