WAYS OF TRANSLATION OF QUASI-REALIA IN THE UKRAINIAN TRANSLATIONS OF THE NOVEL ‘BRAVE NEW WORLD’ BY ALDOUS HUXLEY

Abstract
The article deals with the ways of translation of quasi-realia in two Ukrainian translations of the novel ‘Brave New World’ by Aldous Huxley. The following ways of their rendering have been determined: transcription (transliteration), calque translation, descriptive paraphrase, contextual translation. Each method has been analyzed from the point of view of adequacy.
