WAYS TO REDUCE GASES EMITTED BY ENGINES INTO THE ATMOSPHERE

Abstract

Abstract In connection with the situation in the limits of the number of cars, as well as in connection with the situation in large cities, it is necessary to find ways to international boundaries of harmful substances from car engines. In recent years, an increasing number of transport vehicles have received diesel engines. Such engines are used by the vast majority of trucks, buses, and agricultural machinery. The use of diesel engines in passenger cars is also expanding. The following ways to improve the environmental performance of diesel engines are known: – neutralization of exhaust gases; – improvement of fuel quality; – alternative fuels; – improvement of mixture formation and combustion; – exhaust gas recirculation. Currently, there is practically no systematic data on the rear panel of various diesel engines. Therefore, this article sets the task of collecting and reviewing data on the rearview mirror of explosives with exhaust gases of diesel engines with various schemes of fuel equipment and diesel engines converted to run on compressed natural gas (NG). Strict environmental requirements are forcing engine companies to improve the lighting of diesel engines, primarily by optimizing the shape of the combustion chamber and modernized fuel equipment, since these design elements play a decisive role in mixture formation and combustion, and are also in the working process of the diesel engine. Among cars with diesel engines, models with divided combustion chambers were dominant (83%). These engines had high CH emissions and high specific fuel consumption. Therefore, in the last decade, more economical diesel engines with a single burner (direct injection) have been developed and produced. These, actions with the introduction of more stringent environmental standards were associated with the introduction of fuel supply equipment and automatic control systems and the regulation of new phenomena.
