WEB-BASED-SECURE ONLINE NONCHOICE –BASED EXAMINATION SYSTEM (WONES) using Cryptography
Journal Title: International Journal on Computer Science and Engineering - Year 2011, Vol 3, Issue 10
Abstract
Web based Online Non-choice-based Examination System (WONES) is an effective solution for mass education evaluation. WONES ensures transactions between the examination server and the candidates by employing special authentication protocols. This paper proposes an enhanced secured online exam management environment by using Biometric Authentication and One Time Authentication Code (OTAC) by Trusted Third Party monitoring. . A novel feature of the system is its support for formulae and graph input which makes it suitable for non-choice based examinations. There are also a library of comparators which evaluate the difference between the encoded correct answer and the candidate response using heuristic rules.

SSL-MAP: A More Secure Gossamer-based Mutual Authentication Protocol for Passive RFID Tags
Abstract— RFID systems that employ passive RFID tags, are run using lightweight protocols. The Gossamer protocol is a case in point. However, it is found that the Gossamer protocol uses rather simple operations, in order...
Exploring a Hybrid of Geospatial Semantic Information in Ubiquitous Computing Environments
Nowadays, geospatial information plays a critical role. Searching and obtaining geospatial information, however, is a difficult and time-consuming task. The Semantic Web promises to facilitate this by improving the capab...
Comparative Study of the Factors that Affect Maintainability
The maintainability of the software system is becoming a very important characteristic due to growth in demand of quality software system. Software maintainability means the ease with which a software system or component...
Color Image Segmentation for Satallite Images
This paper introduces efficient and fast algorithms for unsupervised image segmentation, using low-level features such as color, applied on satellite images. With the increase in spatial resolution of satellite imagery,...
