Weediness and productivity of maize crops for grain under application of herbicide Stellar (water solution)

Abstract
Maize belongs to crops, which, in the absence of proper care of crops, sharply reduces productivity through to weediness of crops. The sensitivity of maize to weeds and its competitiveness depends on the phase of its development. Through to the low of effectiveness of mechanical methods controlling of weeds, agricultural producers now widely using the chemical method of struggle with undesirable vegetation, because the supply of herbicides in the market is satisfying demand. The article presents the results of research on the influence of the norms of the herbicide Stellar (water solution) on the level of segetal vegetation in maize crops for grain and its grain productivity. It has been established that the use of the investigated preparation allows to effectively controlling the level of weediness maize crops, reducing the composition of the weed component of maize agrophytocenosis by its number and weight, depending on the norm of herbicide by 71 95%. Through to removal of the overwhelming amount of weeds in maize crops and reduction of their harmful effects, the competitive ability of maize plants is improved, which detected in increasing its yields from 0,87 to 1,56 t / ha.
