Weevils (Coleoptera: Curculionidae) from Chihuahua: new records for the state and for Mexico

Abstract
This study is a contribution to the knowledge of the weevils species present in Mexico. Eight tribes, 11 genera, and 20 species were identified. Twelve species of curculionid are reported for the first time for the state of Chihuahua; three of these are new records for the country: Smicronyx humilis Anderson, Stictobaris pimalis Casey, and Pandeleteius defectus Green.
