WHAT IS THE POLITEUMA AT HELLENISTIC AND ROME?

Abstract
Politeuma is relation with settlement concept. It is derived from politeia which means governance, citizenship and civil rights. Political events, civil rights, government, like the government. In fact, strangers in cities that were privileged, could use their councils, and can use the laws among themselves. However, in some cities, they do not go to the gymnasium. Under the conquest policy of Alexander The Great,races were mixed, to be continious his sovereignty established politeuma. We have written documents that belonged to politeuma were set up for military purpose by Egyptian kings. Seleucos kings has continued this policy. In Classical and Hellenistic periods, politeuma was used to specify, privileged persons were in cities that merchants, soldiers, members of the clubs , working women in the temples for festivals, ethnic groups and people who work for God or Goddess. We have been available written documents which is used in describing the meaning of politeuma. The reign of Rome, mostly, it was stated Jewish groups in cities. It is known Augustus established politeuma of Jews in Berenice. However, Caligula, Vespasianus and Titus took back rights granted to Jews. Beginings of Christianity, it was used for the Church and allowing this institution to earn priviliges. Blessed by God and privileges are expressed as a paradise, which consists of people. Politeuma, that is cited as the only way to reach the church, consisting of eternal life blessed.
