Wing in Ground Effect over a Wavy Surface
Journal Title: INCAS BULLETIN - Year 2018, Vol 10, Issue 2
Abstract
A vortex method has been used to investigate the effect of a wavy ground on the aerodynamic forces acting on a wing that flies in its proximity. The air is considered inviscid and incompressible. The problem is obviously unsteady, and the solutions were found numerically. Key Words:

Air Power as a Security Factor: Case study Syria
The aim of our work was to identify the role and the potential of the Air Power in modern warfare as a security factor. The Air Power itself is a concept, which had initially materialized almost one hundred years ago ove...
Optimizing ideal ion propulsion systems depending on the nature of the propellant
From all accounts the ion thrusters are characterized by the fact that they produce a very high exhaust velocity and specific impulse, sometimes too high for many missions. The exhaust velocity of the ionized particles i...
Numerical investigation of zeros of some dispersion relations appearing in sound attenuation problems in a circular lined duct
In this paper the zeros of some dispersion relations apperaring in sound attenuation problems in circular lined ducts, carrying a gas flow, are investigated numerically. To find the values of frequencies for which the di...
STUDIES ON FLUTTER PREDICTION
The purpose of this paper is to study the instability of the dynamic flutter. The justification is expressed by the fact that the occurrence of flutter within the aircraft’s flight envelope results in irreversible struct...
Using the gauge condition to simplify the elastodynamic analysis of guided wave propagation
In this article, gauge condition in elastodynamics is explored more to revive its potential capability of simplifying wave propagation problems in elastic medium. The inception of gauge condition in elastodynamics happen...
