Wolontariat hospicyjny w Zielonej Górze

Abstract
Volunteerism as a freewill, selfless help to another person in need has been known for centuries. This article focuses on the development of the hospice volunteerism in Poland since the 90s, when the sociopolitical situation of the country has changed. There have been briefly discussed the statutory regulations concerning volunteerism and the work of volunteers on the example of Volunteerism Centre operating by the Hospice of Lady Ryder of Warsaw in Zielona Gora. Wolontariat jako dobrowolna, bezinteresowna pomoc drugiemu człowiekowi w potrzebie był znany od wieków. Niniejszy artykuł skupia się na rozwoju wolontariatu hospicyjnego w Polsce od lat 90-tych, kiedy to nastąpiła zmiana sytuacji społeczno-politycznej kraju. Krótko omówione zostały uregulowania prawne dotyczące wolontariatu oraz przedstawiono pracę wolontariuszy na przykładzie Centrum Wolontariatu działającego przy Hospicjum im. Lady Ryder of Warsaw w Zielonej Górze.
