Woodworking factories wastewater treatment using immobilized microorganisms for intensification of the process
Journal Title: Екологічні науки - Year 2018, Vol 20, Issue 1
Abstract
The article discusses problem of deterioration of the environment due to the presence of phenolic compounds in wastewater of hydrothermal wood processing. It was found out that traditional methods of using aerotanks cannot meet the required indicators of wastewater treatment, therefore, was proposed to intensify the processes of biological purification by introducing carriers with immobilized microorganisms. Was established that this technology allows increasing the efficiency of industrial wastewater treatment to 45%.
