Abstract
The article presents functioning of the intermodal terminals in Poland. The paper shows causes why the container terminals are not fully exploited. To improve quality services provided by terminals should improve the state of railway infrastructure in Poland. The modern trackage will affect on efficiency of terminals prospect and will increase competitiveness of polish intermodal transshipment points on the international arena. The investment of PKP PLK S.A. will improve flow of goods and secure of the movement in main transport corridors.
