Wpływ okresu eksploatacji transportu samochodowego na zanieczyszczenie atmosfery

Abstract
The article describes problems related to the impact of road transport life and the effects of technical condition on atmospheric pollution and their effects on human health in urban agglomerations. The problem of main sources of technical condition, which have a direct impact on environmental pollution, is presented. Sources of gaseous and particulate pollutants in urban and non-urban areas are emissions from engine exhaust gases, propulsion systems and brake vehicles. The transport structure in Poland is presented, which presents a dynamic increase in the number of vehicles in the years 1993 - 2015 and their share in air pollution. The results of the research on the vehicles made on a selected group of passenger cars with spark ignition during mandatory inspection tests at vehicle control stations were presented. On the basis of research, a group of vehicles has been identified which, due to its long service life, has not met the emission limit values.
