Wybrane działania Freight Quality Partnership w Szczecinie

Abstract
Functioning of urban infrastructure, depending on the availability of goods at retail outlets, such as shopping malls, grocery stores, multi-branch and industrial. Three major groups of Urban Freight Transport have been identified. The first group represents the consumer requirements for goods and services, but also in terms of acceptance of the principles of sustainable development. The second one includes the business entities, which are focused on the response for the city users’ needs and expectations. Finally, the third group are city authorities which implement a particular strategy of the city development. One of the ways to reach consensus among different stakeholder groups is the Freight Quality Partnership. The aim of the paper is to introduce the practical experiences resulting from the experimental implementation of this type of partnership in Szczecin and the results of analyzes, which are the basis for the implementation of the measures limiting the negative impact of UFT on the urban environment.
