Abstract
The imagined Janczewska The text describes the relation between Jadwiga Janczewska and Henryk Sienkiewicz. The writer was corresponding with Janczewska for many years. At the beginning of this friendship he “imagined” his addressee – his letters appear more like an autobiography than an exchange of opinions. The following essay is about this relation.
