ХАРЧОВА ПРОМИСЛОВІСТЬ: АСПЕКТИ ДОСЛІДЖЕННЯ СУЧАСНИХ ПРОБЛЕМ ТА ТЕНДЕНЦІЙ РОЗВИТКУ

Skupsky R.M., Melіh T.G. Food industry: aspects of research of contemporary problems and development trends. Theoreticalmethodological foundations of grouping of food industry sub-complexes are considered. Are determined the main problems of functioning of food industry in Ukraine during before crisis period and in the latest political-economic conditions of the country's integration into the EU. It was established that the food industry of the country has extremely favorable conditions for its effective development. In particular, it is a raw materials base and labor necessity. Part of the food industry tends to raw areas and another part - to areas of consumption. If for economically developed countries typical are both types of production, for the other countries, where economy is not developed so much, including Ukraine - mainly the second type. Are grounded latest trends as for directions of development of national food industry under the conditions of full or partial reorientation to new markets of food products. The main vectors, defining possible development scenarios, depending on selected priorities are: first – orientation of food industry sectors to the European market; second - diversification of sales markets, particularly with a focus on fast-growing markets of Asia and Africa; third - focus on the national market and insurance of maximum protection of national producers. Further development of this industry and competitiveness of national food are inextricably linked with the modernization of equipment and introduction of modern technologies. In this regard, the main task is to ensure the quality and safeness of products, active participation in solving of the problem of diversification of markets and also stimulation of specific priority brunches and development of new directions of production (eg, involvement of food industry into the formation of the system of bioenergy and production of alternative fuels).
