Yevhen Stankovych’ works – inspirations in the age of globalism

Abstract
This popular science article outlines the meanders of the contemporary Ukrainian music and features the work of Ukrainian composer Yevhen Stankovych [Євген Станкович, born 1942 in Svaliava in the Transcarpathians – Ukraine]. The study is based solely on the relevant Ukrainian literature. The author focuses on the composing technique, musical language and relations between Stankovych’ work and the works of other composers.
