Abstract
Abstract. The paper analyzes the methods for ensuring the electromagnetic compatibility of the modern transmission technologies of the fixed broadband access networks based on multi-pair telephone cables. The focus is on the methods used in the G.fastmodern broadband access technology. The conditions under which it is possible to ensure the efficiency of the functioning of the modern transmission systems over multi-pair telephone cables are formulated. The frequency characteristics of the mutual influences between pairs of the TPPep type domestic multi-pair telephone cables in the frequency band up to 106 MHz are determined.The evaluation of the crosstalk power for parallel operation of G.fast transmission systems over TPPep type cables without using the «vectoring» crosstalk compensation system and evaluation of the crosstalk suppression effectiveness by the «vectoring» system is given. Modeling of the G.fast transmission systems operation over TPPep type domestic multi-pair telephone cables without using «vectoring» and using «vectoring» was carried out. Estimates of the achievable transmission rate of the G.fast transmission systems, which prove the effectiveness of the «vectoring» crosstalk compensation system application, are obtained.
