Abstract
This scientific article carried out a general description of certain types of state awards. It is focused on the need to raise the image of the highest state award. It was proposed to make changes to the law of Ukraine “On state awards of Ukraine”, namely to cancel the used award by the Hero of Ukraine, instead of this award to introduce “The Star of Courage” and “Honor of the Nation”.
