Abstract
У статті досліджено місце і роль податку на додану вартість (ПДВ), досвід його справляння у зарубіжних країнах, а також обґрунтовано необхідність реформування чинної податкової системи України. Пропонуються напрями змін механізмів справляння ПДВ на основі зарубіжного досвіду для забезпечення ефективного оподаткування в Україні.
