Zasady kontroli chorych na raka piersi po przeprowadzonym leczeniu radykalnym

Abstract
Program kontroli po leczeniu radykalnym stanowi niezbędny element kompleksowej opieki nad chorymi z rakiem piersi. Z uwagi na fakt, że jest to najczęstszy nowotwór u kobiet w Polsce i na świecie, prawidłowo prowadzony follow-up ma istotne znaczenie nie tylko w wymiarze klinicznym, lecz także ekonomicznym. W niniejszym opracowaniu przedstawiono najbardziej aktualne zalecenia dotyczące programu kontroli w tej grupie chorych. Jego podstawowym celem jest wczesne wykrycie wznowy miejscowej lub raka drugiej piersi, obserwacja późnych powikłań po leczeniu, a także stworzenie wielodyscyplinarnej infrastruktury, która pozwala na zmniejszenie ryzyka nawrotu choroby i zminimalizowanie następstw fizycznych, psychicznych i społecznych związanych z przebytym leczeniem.<br/><br/>
