ЗАЩИТА ПРАВ ЧАСТНЫХ ПРЕДПРИНИМАТЕЛЕЙ И РОЛЬ МАЛОГО БИЗНЕСА В ИННОВАЦИОННОЙ ЭКОНОМИКЕ

Abstract
This article examines the contribution of small businesses and private entrepreneurship to ensuring economic growth and creating an enabling environment for the functioning of small businesses. The contribution of the small and medium-sized business sector to GDP in most developed countries ranges from 50 % to 60 % (For reference: in the EU, on average, 57.8 %). The highest share of the small business sector was registered in Japan (63 % of the country's GDP) and in the United States (62 %), despite the fact that large businesses are developing successfully in these countries. To date, in Uzbekistan, small businesses provide 54.9 % of GDP, which is quite a high index among developed countries. The SME sector of the European Union is 99.8 % of all enterprises operating on its territory and provides jobs for 66.5 % of the employed population in Europe. At the same time, 70.7 % of the employed population work in the small business sector in Uzbekistan.
