Zastosowanie benchmarkingu w logistyce miejskiej na przykładzie wybranych projektów europejskich

Abstract
The use of road transport as a dominant transport mode, used for urban deliveries, has a number of negative impacts, mainly due to the congestion effect, environmental pollution, road safety, city image and functionality, and the need for energy. For many years, efforts have been made to reduce these negative effects. One way is to apply the learning process from the bests, according to benchmarking concept. A good practice approach is the basis of many European urban logistics projects. The paper is focused on the experience resulting from the implementation of four such projects. The specificity of the projects and the methodologies used in them were discussed. The aim of the paper is to highlight the most important similarities in them, which may be an important hint when making implementation decisions.
