Abstract

Paper deals with physical and mathematical models of the active vibration reduction system with pneumatic musclesand fuzzy-logic controller used for the horizontal seat suspension. In the basis of the numerical simulation, that is conducted for the excitation signal having the properties of white noise in the frequency range of 0.5 - 10 Hz.The effectiveness of horizontal active vibration reduction systems with fuzzy-logic controller is shown in comparison with the passive one. Appropriate selection of the model allows to obtain simulation results close to the dynamic behavior of a real system. The power spectral density of vibration acceleration and the transmissibility functions are presented as the results of computer simulations using the Matlab-Simulink® software package. Analysis of the results leads to the conclusion concerning the fuzzy-logic controller effectiveness in application to active vibration reduction systems.
