Abstract
The paper presents the problems of fuzzy sets for methods of analysis of k-mediated clusters in the task of classification of goods. Often in data analysis we encounter incomplete and imprecise data. This imprecision arises from the fact that the description of the characteristics of the goods is often subject to subjective assessment. Classical probabilistic methods or those derived from statistical theory do not cope well with classification under such conditions. The author therefore used fuzzy observation of the features of the object/commodity to accurately classify the goods to a certain group. The method developed is therefore competitive with the ABC and XZY methods, but due to the high computational complexity and the need to construct a fuzzy rules of procedure, it requires a numerical approach to computer data analysis.
