Abstract
Numerous scientifi c studies have shown that physical activity has a positive effect on the health of modern people. Exercise for health is one of the main contents on which the promotion of fi tness is based. The fi tness industry rapidly develops and creates more and more money. The term health fi tness is often misused because of the increased profi t. In practice, there are more and more programs that have the prefi x health, but they are essentially classic marketing. The aim of this paper is to point out to the incorrect and uncritical interpretation of health fi tness. There are three examples that illustrate the ability to manipulate people who do not understand what health fi tness is. Lumbal syndrome (back pain), osteoporosis and action of so-called hormones of happiness were analyzed.
