Abstract
The article analyzes the practice of Constitutional Court of Ukraine over the past year in the domain of protecting the right to social protection of citizens. The author pays special attention to the content of this constitutional right specified by the Court, as well as the possible restriction of certain social rights, especially under conditions of financial insolvency of the state.
