100 YEARS INSTITUTIONALIZED RESEARCH ON HYGIENE AND PUBLIC HEALTH IN BULGARIA

Abstract

The aim of present article is to present the process of legal, civil, social and moral establishment of research activities both in hygiene and public health in Bulgaria. Four main periods in the development of this activity are described. Conclusions, which are made, show that NCPHP was and remains a pillar of preventive medicine in Bulgaria.
