Abstract
In this essay, some parameters of the 15th International İstanbul Biennial and some questions related to this issue are explored. The question of how we can assess the place of 15th International İstanbul Biennial within contemporary arts and its value after the event is among these. The essay also interprets the works of important contemporary artists in the biennial and the relation between their works and the general theoretical.
