3D CAD for concept design - a case study
Journal Title: Scientific Journal of Pure and Applied Sciences - Year 2013, Vol 2, Issue 6
Abstract
Generally for any new design initially a concept layout in 2D CAD is generated. But sometimes if the geometry of product becomes complicated, then 3D CAD model is preferred. Because 3D CAD model can give us a complete all side view at a time like a real product, but in a virtual world. The present case study will show the utilization of 3D CAD at the concept design stage of a complicated shaped product for a new system. This will also give an idea about cost and time comparison. Thus this paper will describe about the importance of 3D CAD tools for product development.

Today, more than one billion people of the world don't have access to safe drinking water. Therefore, due to the population increase andconsequently increasing water needs, and the reduction of drinking watersources av...
Consumer behavior analysis of melli bank customers towards online services (case study Kermanshah Province Melli bank)
In recent years, the increasing number of Internet users and e-commerce, identifying consumer behavior in the digital space, is very important. Consumer behavior, the set of activities that, in order to acquire, use or...
Reliability assessment to determine the optimal forced outage rate of components
Determining the optimal forced outage rate (FOR) ofcomponents can lead to reducing the operational and maintenance costs inelectric power systems. FOR is closely associated with two factors: number ofoutages and durati...
Preparation of polystyrene nanofiber modified with Dithizone using electrospinning technique
In this paper, polystyrene nanofiber were made using electrospinning polystyrene inside THF/DMF solvent. The major parameters such as voltage, distance between injection and collector, polystyrene concentration and rot...
