A comparative study of some numerical approaches for mixed integral equations with Adomian method
Journal Title: International Research Journal of Applied and Basic Sciences - Year 2013, Vol 4, Issue 5
Abstract
In this article, numerical solution of Volterra-Fredholm integral equations of mixed type is studied using two classes of the orthogonal functions, two-dimensional block-pulse and two-dimensional triangular functions and their operational matrix. These numerical methods are compared by Adomian’s decomposition method. Some numerical examples are provided to illustrate advantages and disadvantages of considered approaches and comparison between them.
