A CONTRASTIVE PERSPECTIVE OF THE LEXEME “DEPRESSION (ECONOMY)”

Abstract
The objective of the present paper is an investigation of the lexeme depression (economy) in language and professional discourse with the help of various types of the structural-semantic analysis – definitional, componential, and field (domain)-- based on the data from the British National Corpus of the English language. The end-goal of our study is to present the entry “depression” for the Comprehensive English-Ukrainian Glossary.
