The study further investigates the relationship between dimensions and individual characteristics of participants. In this quantitative research, descriptive statistics, as well as T-Test, Variance Analysis and Explanatory Factor Analysis of the scale developed for the purposes of this research will be presented. The internal consistency of the scale is reported by high Cronbach’s Alpha values. The results reveal that participants have an inadequate knowledge level about disasters, high level of fear and anxiety, and inadequate ideal behaviors. In addition, some individual characteristics are found to impact on the dimensions of attitude.
