Abstract
This article has aimed to open discussion on that the existence of a relationship between some infidels/mushriq who claim the absence of hereafter in the context of Quranic concept dahr/time and the description of them as Zandīq. According to infidels/mushriq, who assert there is no another life beside world life, everything convicts to vanish within dahr/time and there is no second life. The definition of infidels/mushriq as Zandīq comes into question the concept of Zandīg/q that has originated from pre-Islamic Iranian Religions. The concept of Zandīg/q, which is used for definition of Mani and Mazdak, lately has been used for someone who deviated from mainstream religious thought. The Zandīg/q word that has been known via Sasanian invasion to Arabian Peninsula was so important for Arabs. Therefore, this article has investigated the possibility of the relation between Zandīq and Dahr/time.
